In a statement, AirAsia said it will start on April 22 daily flights from Cebu to Boracay and Palawan, as well as twice daily flights to Davao.

From Davao, the budget carrier will also mount flights to Boracay, Palawan three times weekly, and to Clark at four times weekly.

“With our newest routes AirAsia would like to provide much-needed connections and tap into underserved markets, grow it, as there is definitely great tourism and business potentials in Visayas and Mindanao. We are thrilled to paint Cebu skies red,” Philippines AirAsia CEO Dexter M. Comendador said.

All-in promo fares for the new routes are now available for as low as P398, for travel between April 22 and Aug. 31, 2017.

Last November, AirAsia added flights from Cebu to Singapore and Taipei, and increased the Cebu-Kuala Lumpur flights to four times weekly from three times. It also has a Cebu-Incheon flight.
